Would you like to join Mt Barker South Medical Centre? We'd love to chat!

Mt Barker South Medical Centre is an AGPAL accredited practice that has served the local Mount Barker community for over 30 years. It is a family practice that prides itself on the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based patient care.

In 2019, Mt Barker South Medical Centre was fully renovated to refurbish the existing building. The clinic now offers three large consulting rooms with natural light, a large fully-equipped treatment room, on-site pathology, and ample parking for doctors, staff, and patients. The clinic is 290 metres from Mount Barker District Soldiers Hospital and is within walking distance to a supermarket, bakery, chicken shop, and gym, to name a few.

Mt Barker South Medical Centre is accredited by the RACGP Training Program to assist fully qualified doctors in the completion of their vocational registration. The clinic also supports medical student placement terms from both Flinders University and Adelaide University.

The town of Mount Barker is located an easy 30-minute drive from Adelaide’s CBD via the South Eastern Freeway and is home to 36,477 people. It is the largest town in the Adelaide Hills, and one of the fastest-growing areas in South Australia, with the population forecast to grow to 56,710 by 2036.

  • Centralised expertise, including IT, marketing, human resources, and payroll;
  • The delivery of excellence in clinical care, underpinned by clinician support of our Clinical Advisory Board;
  • Great earning potential for doctors with competitive market rates;
  • Enabling doctors to manage and maintain flexible working schedules and promoting independence;
  • Providing opportunities for professional development, including the development of specialist skills;
  • Our commitment to technological innovation in primary care; and
